Renting Conditions
THE BASICS
• There are 2 Queen beds, 1 set of King Bunks, 1 Single with 1 Trundler.
• You'll need to bring your own sheets and towels.
• Take away all your rubbish with you.
• If you, your friend, your kids or your dog damages something you're paying for it.
• Bikes in the garage are not to be used.
ON ARRIVAL
• The key to the house is in a lockbox inside the power metre box, which is on the left side of the house beside the garage.
The code is will have been emailed in your confirmation email.
• Turn on the water at the street curb. Approx middle in front of the green hedge bushes.
Inside there will be taps in the kitchen and bathroom which will start running, go turn them off.
• Once inside, turn on the Hot Water Cylinder inside the hallway cupboard.
• Switch on the refrigerator at the wall and close the door. There is also a drinks fridge in the garage if you have lots of beers.
• Turn on the TV at the wall in the corner. This will also turn on the WiFi.
The username and password will be txt or emailed to you. (And it is written on the printed copy)
The TV uses a Satellite Receiver unit (attached under it) to get a signal. (Standard for Hanmer)
This means you need to use the small remote to turn it on and change the channels to watch normal TV.
• The keys to things such as the sliding doors are located in the bottom kitchen drawer.
• If you wish to use the garage door you will need to switch on the unit first (broom handle is easiest).
• The fire is gas. Simply turn it on at the wall and press the button and it will start. It will heat things up pretty quick.
If you want to turn off the fan so it's quiet, press the FLAME button. Of course you're welcome to use the fire as much as you want, just please bear in mind it does chew the gas so don't leave going with doors / windows open etc. Please don't leave anything up against the fire, couch / beanbag etc.
- BBQ gas bottle is in the garage.
- Outdoor chairs and small table in garage.
- Shade sails for the deck are in the main bedroom wardrobe.
- Darts for the dart board are on the bookshelf.
- Stereo is bluetooth (you may need to hold down the power knob until it flashes and then sync with your device).
- Do not leave rubbish in the green bin outside. You must take rubbish away with you.
- In the unlikely event you used up a main gas bottle. You'll need to go around side of house, turn one off that is empty and turn on the other one.
PLEASE TELL US THIS HAS HAPPENED SO WE CAN ARRANGE REFILL
ON DEPARTURE
• Switch off Hot Water Cylinder.
• Switch off TV at wall.
• Switch of fire at wall.
• IF USED outside: Put BBQ bottle back in garage, close outside dart board and bring in darts, bring in shade sails. Close gates (don't lock them), bring in small table/chairs.
• Please vacuum and clean everything (kitchen / bathrooms) to the same condition you arrived. We don't pay for cleaners.
• Take your sheets and towels with you.
• Take all your rubbish away with you.
• Ensure both sliding doors are fully locked including deadbolts with key.
• Ensure all windows are closed properly.
• Ensure all blinds are pulled properly closed without gaps including bathrooms.
• Close all internal doors.
• Ensure lights are all off and the pantry door is closed.
• Switch off the refrigerator and leave the doors ajar with a hand towel. Same with the garage fridge (if used).
• Switch off garage door opener on ceiling (can use broom).
• Close internal garage door and lock it.
• Turn off water mains at street curb fully, turn on kitchen sink tap on cold and let the bit of water out of pipes until it stops to prevent freezing pipes. Do the same in the bathroom sinks.
• Lock front door and put the key back into the lockbox and re-scramble code.
• Have a safe ride home!
